Jo Ellen Kladzyk is a multi-medium artist who divides her time between Manchester and Grand Marais, Michigan. Her main focus is designing and making decorative ceramic tiles. She also works with stained glass, creating jewelry, mosaics and other glass creations. Much of her artwork reflects the colors and themes inspired by living near the Great Lakes, especially Lake Superior. JoEllen's artwork includes a variety of magnet pieces, and a unique variety of jewelry in addition to what you see below. All of this is available in our gallery.
The UP Made Artist Market is pleased to have Marilyn Swift join us this year as she is truely a professional stained glass artist in every sense of the word. With over 30 years of working with and teaching the art of stained glass, Marilyn most likely has lead in her veins! In addition to her expertise she is articulate in her work and offers an enormous selection of beautifully produced treasures. From jewlery to window hangings to a variety of shades and ornamental pieces, there's no end to her talent. Marilyn is a Houghton native and owns an elaborate studio in Hancock, where she produces her unique pieces and also teaches classes.
