Annual Summer Art Show on the  Historic Covington School  grounds on Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Special traditional music performance by

Dave Morehouse at 1:00 p.m.

Jam session music by Roy Hartwick & friends during the day! Come out for the fun and shopping.

Enter drawing for beautiful artists' drawing donations!

 

Prizes for drawing include: silk scarf, suet feeder, pair of quilted placemats, Nordic Woven tote, garden spirit, and a Raggedy Ann Doll.

From Marquette: Drive north on Hwy 41 to M-28 (approx. 60 mi.). Turn west onto M-28. Covington is only 4 miles! Turn left onto US-141 then right on School Rd.

 

From Houghton: Take Hwy 41 south  approx. 50 mi.) to M-28. Follow directions above.

 

Coming from the west on M-28, follow M-28 east to the blinking light at US-141. Turn south and go 1 block to School Rd.

 

From the south take US-141N to Covington. Turn left onto School Rd. The market is 100 yards on the right.

Parking and turn-around for RV's and campers.

There will be a concession stand and picnic tables on the day of the Art Show.

The nonprofit Community Women's Group, Inc. owns and operates the UP Made Artist Market within the Historic Covington School building.  Profits support a variety of community organizations.  It is run entirely by dedicated volunteers and members.  Your support is greatly appreciated by our local community and by artists and crafters from across the Upper Peninsula!
